Luping Chi received her Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture at Ocean University of China in 2011. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Marine Biology at Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2020, and her doctoral research focused mainly on marine natural products from deep-sea derived fungi. In 2020, she joined Prof. Shengying Li's lab at Shandong University, studying biosynthesis of natural products for postdoctoral research.
